Below is quite an extensive guide on pretty much everything you need to know about vaping, whether you are a newbie or a veteran, hopefully you'll find some of the information useful.
Well, over the last 4 years eCigarettes have become extremely popular, and there's definitely an array to choose from!
It may be controversial, but our advice would be to avoid the disposable eCigs that look like cigarettes, they are very pricey and are substandard to many other eCigarettes.
The most commonly used eCigerette is the eGo, it usually consists of a battery base (many colours) and a detachable clearomizer, most people tend to start with this eCig due to the price, it's by far the most affordable eCigarette on the market, usually priced between £15-£25.
You may be baffled by how many variations of eCigarettes are available on the market however many are based on the same technology that the eGo uses, some have bigger tanks and some have variable power settings available out of the box.
Ofcourse, after you've been vaping for a while you may wonder into the "Rebuildable" "Mech Mod" type of eCigarettes, these are by far the most customisable eCigarettes available on the market but will cost you a lot more to obtain that an eGo would, These are not recommended for beginners.
What are all of those choices when ordering eLiquid? 40/60, 20/80, 50/50?? What does it all mean??
eLiquid is a mixture of varying amounts of about 4 different ingredients. Nicotine, PG (Propylene Glycol), VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and flavoring. Some liquids can have additional ingredients, but for the most part, these are the only ingredients in our eLiquid
The amount of nicotine is dependent on the strength of nicotine in your e-liquid, but let’s say it is around 2% nicotine base. Somewhere around 10% of your eLiquid will be flavoring. That leaves 88% of the liquid in your bottle for fillers, which dilute the flavoring and the nicotine. This is where PG and VG come in, and depending on how you like your vape, that determines the percentage of PG and VG in your e-liquid.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a thick, sweet liquid. VG produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.
Propylene Glycol (PG) is a much thinner tasteless liquid. PG produces more of a “throat hit” than VG does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. PG also has a higher rate of sensitivity for some people, meaning that some people just can’t use PG in their vape.
Our recommendation is to start out with a 50/50 mix of PG and VG in your eLiquid. Then after you have tried it, you can make adjustments on your next order. If you aren’t getting enough throat hit to satisfy you, then next time try a 30/70 VG/PG mix. If you want more pillowy clouds of smoke, then maybe a 70/30 VG/PG mix is for you.
Following bad press on eCigarettes, we'd like to assure you that all of the flavouring we use in our eLiquids contains no oil, we spend endless hour's to find PG based flavours.
Our PG/VG ingredients are 99%+ Pharmaceutical Grade.
